“The village of Buena Vista is interested over the marriage at West Union Tuesday evening of Carl Miller and Mrs. Irene Green, divorced wife of Bruce Green.”
“The bride is a daughter of WT McCormick1, wealthy business man, of Rome, Adams county, and one of the most widely known lumber dealers of this section. Mr. Miller is in his employ as manager of his Buena Vista store and office. Mrs. Green until his domestic troubles ended in a separation was the general overseer for Mr. McCormick’s vast timber lands in the vicinity of Buena Vista. His wife sued him for divorce a year ago. Since separating from her he has been living in Cincinnati. They had two children2. Mrs. Green is the senior of her young second husband by several years. He is the youngest son of Charles Miller, who was formerly associated with his father in the stone business.”
“Mr. and Mrs. Miller will go to housekeeping in the Charles McCormick home, which the groom recently purchased.”3
