The Obituary of Carl Schroeder Taylor

“After a several days illness of diphtheria Carl Schroeder Taylor, five year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Taylor¹ of the Biggs House, Front and Market streets, died Monday afternoon. Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Taylor will regret to learn of their loss.”

“The funeral was held from the Biggs House at ten o’clock Tuesday morning. Burial was in the Odel Creek cemetery on the West Side.²
