Cemetery Location Description:

Riverview Cemetery is located in Greenup, Greenup County, Kentucky. The entrance to the hillside cemetery is directly behind the Greenup County Health Department and can be accessed via Cemetery Road or Dora Lane from US Highway 23. The cemetery is sprawling by is easily accessed by vehicle in most weather conditions. Portions of the cemetery are steep or have poor footing on slopes or stones steps. Vegetation along the perimeter of the cemetery has concealed several temporary markers for graves and shifting soil due to erosion has also deteriorated a burial area that runs parallel to the main entrance road. Several monuments have toppled as a result of tree strikes and other natural causes. The cemetery appears clean and well maintained.
