- 20240410 A review of Newspaper Archives returns zero results when searching for Shingletown Ghost, three for Shingletown, and various derivatives for Labold Avenue cemetery return zero results.
- 20240410 A review of aerial imagery from Google Maps shows a possible location on the north side of Labold Avenue where the pavement ends. This is Parcel 16-0994.000 owned by James Allen Merriman (2024), the area appears to be two well-defined rectangular areas, with one area measuring approximately 30’x45′ and the other 35’x25′. In two seperate image datasets the aforementioned rectangular areas are overgrown consistently with debris apparent therein. WIthout visual confirmation or improved imagery confidence in this location is low.
