Cemetery Notes:
- A review of the 1875 Barton & Gibbs map shows that the land surrounding the approximately location of the cemetery as given shows that the property was owned by the heirs of “H. Cutter” two adjoining parcels measure 151 acres and 77 acres.
- A review of available burial data shows that Mary E. Ketter (nee Marmeyer) is the only documented burial for this cemetery while there may be more that are undocumented. Mary E. Ketter was the wife of Henry Ketter. She was born October 16, 1828 and died May 10, 1876.
- It is likely that other burials exist as Ernest Henry Ketter had previously been married to Mary Marting, the daughter of an adjacent landowner, who died in 1851.
- Google Earth imagery shows a possible burial location at 38.818911164494516, -82.853229563127. This is parcel 07-1333.000 which is owned by the Fredia Gampp Revocable Trust (2023). On-site review would be required to prove out the imagery as this would place the burial location in an active agricultural area. Adjacent parcel 07-0740.000 owned by Mitchell Dalton and Rhonda Dalton are also candidate locations for the cemetery as it also fits the description and would be a hillside or hillside flat burial ground.
