CRAWFORD CEMETERY is located on Wagner property, just south of the old Clinton Furnace. There are no visible signs of a cemetery, but with Mrs. Wagner’s help the cemetery was located on the steep hill
behind the Wagner’s house. (Two miles from Mt. Hope Church, on Clinton Furnace Rd. in briars and underbrush. It was reputedly a sizable cemetery at one time, but only three stones could be dug up.
These inscriptions were recorded Nov. 1, 1980 by Marguerite and Virgil Ramsey.
