  • 20240108: From FindAGrave description: “A document states “Chaffin Cemetery, Vernon Twp., Scioto Co., Ohio, is located on Lick Run-Lyra Rd about 2 miles north of Vernon Twp school, across from property now owned by Taylor Skeens. The house is the former home place of Shadrach Chaffin. These inscriptions were copied in Feb 1980 by Mildred Landrum, and are used with her permission. She stated all the stones are legible and in good condition. J. Long of Jackson-stone cutter.”
