- 20240108 From FindAGrave description: “The cemetery is located on Hall’s Hill south of Lyra just off Lick Run – Lyra Road (County Road 2) about 0.1 miles south of Antioch Church. The cemetery is walled in by huge blocks of stone about 8 feet in length, just as the other Chaffin Cemetery is. The inscriptions were recorded on 18 November 1979 by Duane and Caryn R. Shoemaker.”

- 20240108 Visited cemetery. Permission of property owner was granted via telephone after stopping and asking for directions at owner’s mother’s home near the gate to the field used to access the cemetery. Permission was granted on the grounds that we shut the gate so the donkeys wouldn’t get out.
- 20240108 Collected area photographs external to the stone enclosure, a 360° photograph interior to the enclosure, gps-tagged photographs of each apparent headstone, and video that documented the headstones and their engraving.
CHAFFIN CEMETERY is on Hall’s hill, just south of Lyra. Mrs. Hall directed us to the plot, which is walled in by huge blocks of stone about 8 ft. in length, just as the other Chaffin Cem. is. These inscriptions were copied Nov 18, 1979 by Duane and Caryn R. Shoemaker.
