  • 20230703 Researched via Scioto County Engineer GIS and Topoview returned zero results. Analysis of imagery and description indicated cemetery may be located on parcel 06-1026.00 near 38.6451, -82.7881.

APEL CEMETERY is located in a wooded thicket off Apel Rd.,.3 mile north of Carver Road intersection. The area covered with myrtle has a footstone for M.E.M. and at least two engraved stones, though it appears there are other graves there, unmarked. Inscriptions were copied by Caryn R. Shoemaker, CGRS on October 26, 1980.
