“Mr. Frost, an employee of the Gaylord Rolling Mill, was taken suddenly ill at his work last Monday evening, and died the same night. His family lived in Marietta. Mr. Frost was a member of the Masonic order, and his remains were taken in charge by the fraternity here.”
“Mr. Frost was in the 62nd year of his age, a native of South Boston, Massachusetts, and leaves a daughter, about 13 years of age, who is an orphan. He was compelled to separate from his second wife1 on account of domestic infelicity. The deceased was a scientific rail iron roller, and was brought from Boston to Marietta by Mr. Adams, and about ten months ago was given employment here. He was generous, often giving his last dollar to unemployed mill men who would apply to him for aid. He owned a valuable farm in Washington county at the time of his demise. Heart disease was the cause of his death.”2
