
“Theodore Lehman, an industristious German cigar maker, having a stand on the northwest corner of Fourth and Chillicothe streets, died last Tuesday morning of paralysis of the brain. He was taken with a violent pain in his head Saturday night, and shortly after lost all consciousness, which was never restored. He leaves a wife and four small children. Mr. Lehman was in the 31st year of his age, and came to this place from Cincinnati. He was a devout member of the Catholic Church, and an affectionate husband and father. It was he who constructed the miniature representation of Bethlehem, last Christmas, for the edification and amusement of his children, an account of which we published January 1st. His funeral services were held last Wednesday forenoon, in the German Catholic Church, and his remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse of sympathizing friends. His bereaved family have the condollence of a wide circle of relatives and acquaintances.1
