“John Shultz died at his home, corner of Market and Seventh streets, last Sunday, October 9, aged thirty-two years. The deceased was born in this city, which he has continued to make his permanent home. For the past sixteen years he has been in the employ of TM Lynn, the Second street livery man. The deceased was honest, upright and industrious in all his dealings, and by close economy purchased himself a home and was comfortably situated. He leaves a wife1 and one child2.”
