“Clarence A., twelve-year-old son of J. Wllis Greenslate, of Malonton, Kentucky, died Wednesday night at 10 o’clock, of typhoid fever. His funeral took place at Fairview Thursday at 3 PM. He was a bright and studious lad and a general favorite with everybody. Three other children, two girls1 and one boy, are very low with the same disease. Mr. Greenslate is one of Greenup’s best citizens and the Times sympathizes with him in his great trouble.”2
