WG Cooper Sends His Regards

“Portsmouth, Ohio February 14, 1880”

“Editor Times: In the hurry of removal from the city there may have been some few accounts against me not yet adjusted, and in leaving today please say for me that such accounts, if left at your office, will receive due consideration at my hands upon my returning to the city next month. Believing that, in my departure from the city, I carry with me the best wishes of the community. I desire to deserve them by leaving no bills unpaid. -WG Cooper”1
