“William Emory Frowein, who died February 28th, 1901, aged 6 weeks, 6 days. Little Willie leaves a father1, mother2, brother3 and sister4 to mourn for him. “God took our little rosebud to his home.
To bloom in beauty bright,
In Paradise it ne’er will fade
Or shadows come to blight.
Although our home is dark and drear,
Bereft of its light;
We bow submission to Thy will,
Though know’st what is right.
We thought to raise our little boy
Till he should be a man;
And thus we watched with pride and joy,
And laid full many a plan.
Our cherished hopes are set aside.
With broken hearts we bow.
We’ll meet him where the tears are dried.
How soon we know not now.
Lonely the house and sad the hours
Since our dear one has gone,
But, oh, a brighter home than ours
In heaven is now his own.”6
