Miss Lilly Kelley1, 32 years of age, daughter of the late John and Mrs. Mary Kelley, died at her home on McCullough Creek Thursday, March 17, after a short illness with measles, followed by pneumonia. She was an admirable young woman and a devout Catholic.”

“Funeral services were held Saturday forenoon at St. Patrick’s church on McCullough, Father Mertian officiating, with interment at McCullough Catholic cemetery.”

“A fond mother and a loving sister, Miss Mary Kelley, are the sole survivors of her family.”

“Mrs. Mattie Kelley, of Arion, Mrs. JW O’Brien, of Henley, Miss Bridget and Messrs. Pat, Mike and John Hehner of Rushtown were cousins of the deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Heher, Sr. also of Rushtown, were uncle and aunt of the deceased.”2
