“Albert Burt Jones, ho was accidentally shot by Susan Hoobler, his 12 year-old-niece, died Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock.”
“Mr. Jones was a prominent farmer of near St. Paul, Kentucky. He as 67 years of age, and leaves a wife1 and six children. He and his sons were well-known in this city and one daughter, Miss Birdie Jones, was employed at the home of Reverend George P Taubman. The funeral service will take place Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock.”2
“Miss Minnie Jones was so overcome by grief at the funeral of her father, Albert Jones, that she fainted away on the roadside near St. Paul, Kentucky, Wednesday afternoon. At a late hour her condition was still such as to forbid her removal, and every effort was being made to revive her.”3
