Another School Building Burns

“About midnight Friday, fire of unknown origin completely destroyed the small one-room frame school building on Brushy Fork, near Rocky Fork, Nile township. The school had an enrollment of 15 pupils. Miss Hazel Fritz of Dogwood Ridge, was teacher of the school.”1

The former Brush Fork school’s approximately location is highlighted in red.
