“Jonathan Andre, of Carey’s Run, has received word of the death in Shanghai, China, June 15, 1914, of his son, Eugene Andre, aged 35 years.”
“Word came from the War department and arrangements will be made to bring the remains to the States. He is survived by two other brothers, Jesse Andre, of St. Louis, and Oscar of the West, and one sister, Mrs. George Roberts, of Logan, Ohio.”1
