“Two CCC workers were killed on the Akron-Cleveland road, 8 miles north of here early today by a hit-skip driver while returning to the Virginia Kendall camp after an evening spent in Akron.”

“They were William Davis, 20, of Sugar Grove, Ohio, and John Hoskins, 19 of Deerfield.”

“Two truck drivers who said they discovered the bodies in the highway and drove their truck into the ditch to avoid hitting them, were being questioned.”1
