In the first picture is Private John Hutton. He enlisted at the age of 17, and died September 14, 1862 at Helena, Arkansas. His older brother, Milton, can be seen in the background.
Private Milton Hutton’s marker can be seen in the second photograph and it notes that he died May 4, 1862.
They both enlisted into Company D, 56th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment on October 21, 1861.
