Chased A Cow and Caused Her Death

” A transcript was filed Saturday afternoon from Squire Easter’s docket, Nile township, in which a suit was brought by SL Cook against AR, JH, and James Morrison, charging them with running and worrying a certain cow, the property of Cook, causing her death, on account of which the plaintiff wants thirty dollars damage. Squire Easter gave judgement against the defendants for the amount claimed. They appeal to a higher court.” 1
