Today I received a loan of several unidentified family photographs. Very few had any information about those pictured, but there was enough to make a positive identification on several. This grouping includes the children of Albert Hamilton and Eva Lena Gulley of Lewis County, Kentucky. Those known to be included in the photographs are Opal Hester Hamilton Evans, Violet Hamilton Bulotta, Charles M Hamilton, Betsy Ross Hamilton, Anita “Anne” Hamilton, and Robert “Bob” Hamilton. Many of the scenes depicted include Portsmouth, Ohio; New Boston, Ohio; and what may by either rural Scioto County, Ohio or Lewis County, Kentucky.
Do you know anyone in the images below? We need your help in identifying them.
All photographs have been scanned at 600 dpi (or greater) and saved in an uncompressed TIFF format for archival purposes. As people are identified the identifying information is embedded into the image and saved to FamilySearch.org so that it is accessible to anyone, worldwide, for free.
All images, once digitized are returned to the original loaner.
