Demo K “Steve” Gero was born June 10, 1882 in Greece and died on June 15, 1933, of tuberculosis. He left $1 to each of his two sons and left the remainder of his estate to Ellie George his caretaker.

Obituary

Funeral services for Demo “Steve” Gero, 56, who died at his home, 1026 Findlay street, Thursday, following an illness of several years, will be held Saturday at 2 PM at All Saints Episcopal church. A minister of the Greek Orthodox church, Cincinnati, will arrive to conduct the last rites and burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery. ¹

Will Filed

The will of Demo Gero, was filed Tuesday in probate court. He left $1 each to his sons, John D Gero, 1026 Findlay Street, and George Gero, Greece. Residue of the estate goes to Ella George, whom he said cared for and nursed him without compensation. Attorney JS Thomas was nominated executor of the estate in the will dated August 12, 1932. ²
