Water Hauled to Cattle at County Infirmary

“Russell McGlone, superintendent of the county infirmary ‘went to the well once too often’ and found the infirmary water supply dry.”

“The infirmary is getting water from the city, using a county engineer truck to haul water. Drinking water is being obtained at an infirmary reservoir.”

“Mr. McGlone said the county well is inside the cattle barn and cannot be sunk deeper to insure sufficient water. A new well may be driven outside the barn.”1
