Former Infirmary Resident George Pruett Dies

George Pruett, 75, former residence of the county infirmary, died at 2:35 pm Tuesday at Mercy hospital where he had been patient since May 16. He had suffered a heart ailment.”

“Mr. Pruett was born in 1867 in Greenup county and had lived in Sciotoville and New Boston for the last 23 years. When he was not ill he resided at the home of Mrs. Mary Penix, 4359 Rhodes avenue, New Boston.”

” Pruett’s friends knew of no surviving relatives, although efforts were being made to ascertain if a half-brother survives.

“Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Daehler’s funeral home with burial in Greenlawn cemetery. The body is at the funeral home.”1
