Mrs. Lucinda Lozier, an inmate of the county infirmary, passes away Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock. She succumbed to congestion of the gall, and had been a victim of the malady for more than a year. She was 78 years of age and was admitted to the infirmary on the 29th day of last August, being brought there from Harrisonville. She leaves several grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Gregory, who lived at Davis station, and with whom she made her home for a long time, died about two weeks ago. The remains of Mrs. Lozier were interred at the infirmary graveyard Tuesday afternoon.”1
